It took most part of 2012 until Marios Samaris was able to assemble the remaining 3 bandmates required for Blame Kandinsky’s first rehearsal. Working meticulously to make the newborn tech/mathcore band roll in full speed, the lineup was solidified by year’s end with a 5th member and the time for the first DIY liveshows had come.
The debut EP “Pink Noise Motel” was ready by 2014, demonstrating a versatile band of calculated chaos and was welcomed with positive reviews. The most part of 2015 was dedicated to composing and perfecting the record that would become the full length album and the definitive statement of what this band is capable of.
“Spotting Elegance In Chaos” was recorded 100% live in 2016 and captures the very essence of a band steeped in the creative tradition of The Dillinger Escape Plan, Botch, The Chariot and Everytime I Die.
After the official release on the first day of 2017, “Spotting..” gathered enthusiastic feedback and became the vessel that made a series of liveshows happen, crowned by two consecutive EU tours with 13 dates in 2017 and 15 dates in 2019.
While the world literally changed in the following 3 years, Blame Kandinsky focused completely in the composition and getting every detail in order, so “Eclectic Ruiner” is the proper follow up and one of the most exciting records of 2022.
