Chart-Topping Duet “Never Wanted To Be That Girl” with Ashley McBryde Becomes First Female Pairing to Win Best Country Duo/Group Performance
LOS ANGELES, CA (February 6, 2023) – Reigning ACM Awards Female Artist of the Year Carly Pearce earned her first GRAMMY® award for her chart-topping duet “Never Wanted To Be That Girl” with Ashley McBryde, making history as the first female pairing to win Best Country Duo/Group Performance. During their acceptance speech Pearce shared, “we wrote this song together and it has just transcended so many of my wildest dreams. We won a GRAMMY!”
