is now less than two weeks away.
There has been no shortage of dance, indie or nostalgia focused one-day
festivals in North East but never a purely alternative-based festival on this scale.
RISEFEST is now here to fill that gap to create something that the North East
scene has been sorely missing.
RISEFEST states: “When we started RISE six years ago we always wanted to
do something special for this city, whether it was making sure that the music
was banging, the vibe was amazing or the drinks were cheap – and we created
Newcastle’s biggest, award-winning alt club night!
Now, six years later, we’ve worked hard enough to go even bigger and give
Newcastle it’s very own modern alternative festival. Join us as we bring you
some of the biggest names in the UK Alternative scene, across two stages in
one day!”
RISEFEST 2022 will not only feature two stages of non-stop live music, but
there will also be official merchandise outlets, food stalls and exciting new

British multi award-winning horror punk stars CREEPER also announce today that they will be performing a one of a kind, EXCLUSIVE “The Weeping Widow” set live on the Main Stage at RISEFEST 2022 this year – an unmissable event and something RISEFEST is extremely proud to present to it’s attendees.
RISEFEST also just got a lot hotter, with KILLPOP, VENUS DOOM and LOLA FILTH joining the bill and bringing the very literal HEAT – they’ll be performing on the RISEFEST quad together on Saturday September 10th!
