Portuguese post-rock veterans Indignu will release their fifth album titled “Adeus” on November 4th via A Thousand Arms and dunk!records. Recorded at Arda Recorders, in Porto, and mastered by Birgir Jón Birgisson (the Icelandic magician behind some of Bjork’s, Sigur Rós, Alcest, and Spiritualized pieces), “Adeus” not only cements their reputation as one of the daring and exciting post-rock bands in Europe, it’s also their most richly textured and mature effort to date. A music video for leading single “Urge Decifrar no Céu” is now playing at Everything Is Noise, who had this to say about the song “The interplay between the four-piece during these opening minutes illustrates a band that have been doing this for quite some time, playing as a unit as opposed to a collection of individuals. The mix is superb, particularly in this section. Everything is crisp and clear, but still listening somehow makes you feel you are sitting in a little cabin in a forest with the band playing in front of you.” Watch “Urge Decifrar no Céu” music video here.
During their nearly two decades of existence, the band have released four albums and played numerous shows inside and outside their homeland, including performances at Dunk! Festival in Belgium and Vivid a Post Rock Festival in Norway. More details will be announced soon. |
