We’re influenced by bands that really put emphasis on funky grooves and rhythms, with an ear for catchy songs that are also great to freak out and dance to. A lot of what we do tends to revolve around jamming and trying to capture the energy of our live shows. This is definitely the heaviest rock song we’ve put out so far.
“Stuck in the Blue” is a metaphor for how we all feel stuck in an ocean, swimming in our fears of uncertainty. When I wrote the lyrics back in 2018, my dating life was in a rut and I felt like the only guy I knew who never had a happy dating experience. I know I don’t ever again want to feel as hurt as I have in the past and I know my intentions are good. At the end of the day, it’s important to know what’s right for you and this song gave me the permission I needed to grow into the ultimate sexual version of myself. – Jonah Grinberg (lead singer, lyricist)
