Heading our way, from the other side of the world is another great female fronted Pop Punk band. Yours Truly have been working the Australian circuit for a few years now, but have just released a brand new EP due to land on the 12th April. Having signed with UNFD Records, Afterglow is the first release with the label.

What to expect from the 5 track EP, is an injection of Pop Punk awesomeness! The lead single “Circles” is a great example of who this band is. With a catchy chorus and a rhythm that is bound to get your food tapping along. “I Can’t Feel” continues with the great melodies and deep lyrics. They have managed to pull together all those elements we see from the great bands who have influenced them and brought them to create their own sound. They have managed to play with the fun sounds that sit behind lyrics which take on the themes of love and personal growth. Each track leads on leaving you wanting more from this fresh band.

While this EP may not be the bands first, under a new label, they have managed to push further with their skills and sounds to become more creative. If my word doesn’t sway you to give them a listen then maybe Tonight Alive will, who personally hand picked them to open two sold out shows while they toured Australia. The band is definitely starting to make a name for themselves and have quite clearly grown from the growing and upcoming Pop Punk scene from their home country.
