“Besiege the Uncivil” is the debut full length album of finnish death metal veterans Catabolic. The album is the manifestation of the original vision of the composers Lenn Root and Toivonen. It contains eight songs of intense and aggressive militant death metal. Combining death metal influences from different genres around the world and mixing it with influences from other extreme metal as well, the album has a unique and personal sound that stands on its own feet.
The focal point was creating a Thrash Metal Album for an Incrypt audience to a Thrash Metal fan base. The style is very much distinct with small pockets of early Thrash musical influences, the feel is unique more focused than previous albums by Incrypt. “Thrashing Extinction” is born produced and created in Australia! A must have for your Thrash collection – Thrashing Extinction – by Incrypt.
The work on the new Hok-key album “IN EXISTENCE” was going on in the times of troubles. Watching the madness around the world, living in the era of a pandemic that claims an unimaginable number of lives every day, and, as a result, witnessing world economic and political upheavals, it was decided to deviate a little bit from the Belarusian concept of the band. We have created an experimental album focusing on global problems of humanity.
So, the idea of “seven elements” given to mankind to build a paradise arose from observations and philosophical reflections. Each song describes one of the elements. In addition to the basic four (fire, earth, water, air) we have also highlighted mind, love and life as the greatest gifts that humanity has ever had.
It seems that a human being has received everything necessary for a wonderful future, but what do we see now? We find ourselves incapable of using these gifts, we behave like little children playing with matches without understanding the catastrophic consequences of our behavior!
The final song “Summatim ” is a kind of indication of the sad outcome for humanity if it does not reconsider its attitude towards those gifts…
Within only few months they have created powerful and catchy songs, each member contributing with his own musical influence and style and the result is an original sound that makes the listener think these guys have been playing together for years.
“Extinction control” is a step forward for black Violence. We have tried to take care of every little detail by treasuring past mistakes. The society in which we live is forcing us to close in on ourselves. After shooting the video of “Lucifer’s Day”, in the devil’s church (Italy), something in us has changed, nothing is like before.
The album is about things you have to deal with in your personal life, wether its physical or psychological and you have no influence on it. For example the song “Frozen In Life” is written from the view of a man who is in a vegetative state and wants his life to be ended. The song “My Insanity” is about sleep paralysis. Gernot and Andreas came up with the concept and the lyrics after the songs were done instrumentally.
“Full of dark and enigmatic atmospheres, the self-titled record is a 50-minute concept album divided into nine songs, which tells a story about self-awareness. The instrumental consists of two guitars, a bass, and drums that together form an ideal atmosphere for those who enjoy a deeper journey. This is a creative album that seeks to forge the perfect alloy of darkness and beauty.” – Athemon
