We All Want Someone To Shout For
Some Bodies have released a new video for their sultry, spaced out track Tired All the Time. In the new clip lead singer Tom Nosek takes the role of Hector M S Nelsons, a mythical creature searching for his place in this land. Shot over two days, Tom and guitarist Freddie Hickey travelled from their hometown of Bristol to the Loch Ness.
“We were drinking with our friend Emily, talking about video and she showed us this picture of a dinosaur suit. It looked hysterically sad with its long mopey neck and to be honest we were sold on making the video there and then. We bought the suit first and filled in the absurd narrative along the way. Sometimes you have to do stupid shit; a long trip to take a dip in a Loch dressed as a mythical creature is definitely that. Phil Smithies did a great job making it look like anything other than total nonsense. It’s tempting to take yourself too seriously and doing stuff like this is a great antidote.”
Starting to make some waves locally, the band have recently opened up for FUR, Champagne Superchillin and Sugar Candy Mountain in Bristol and next month will play Liverpool Sound City and make their live London debut at The Old Blue Last.
3rd May – The Thelka, Bristol
