When Rivers Meet // Saving Grace // Album Review

So unless you have been hiding under a rock somewhere you cannot have missed the wave of euphoria surrounding When Rivers Meet. The husband & wife Blues-Rock duo have been making serious waves across the UK’s live scene turning heads at an alarming rate.

Saving Grace is the bands sophomore album following up on the critically acclaimed We Fly Free which announced their arrival on the scene like a blow to the head, and they haven’t looked back since. Of course, 2020 was a write off for so many but these crazy cats kept their heads down and focused on getting out the other side. As the albums opening track kicks in you know that WRM is a serious proposition, psychedelic-laced, classic-rock infused, bluesy goodness that just makes you wanna shake your bones from the ground up.

The album is packed with glorious vocal harmonies from Aaron & Grace and it works so well behind the beautifully crafted songwriting that is immediately addictive, the production sounds huge which adds further depth and weight to an already impressive recording, first-class songwriting delivered by stellar musicians just makes for a feel-good album that resonates from the very first spin. All in all a bling man on a galloping horse would see that there is something pretty special about When Rivers Meet and if you have not yet delved into their catalogue then you are seriously missing out.

Saving Grace arrives Friday, Nov 19th courtesy of the band’s independent label One Road Records and is available to pre-order from www.whenriversmeet.co.uk

The band play a warm-up show with their five-piece band at Hunter Club in Bury St Edmunds on December 18, 2021.

The Hunter Club show is significant, as it will be the first time that WRM will perform as a five-piece band, and it will also be the first time the band will preview and perform songs from the new album “Saving Grace.”
The band will then embark on their first-ever 17-date headline UK tour on April 21, 2022 with special guest Troy Redfern. Tickets: www.thegigcartel.com/Artists-profiles/When-Rivers-Meet.htm
