So for anyone unfamiliar with Mojo Alice, tell us a little bit about your backstory and how you ended up here.
Mojo Alice is from Wellington, New Zealand. We are best described as a heavy rock band with a blues groove. We got together in 2016 and after a year or so we started writing our own music. Our first album “Liquid Sin” was released in September 2019 which was really well received all over the world. It’s nine tracks of raw bluesy stomp rock that goes really well with drinking and parties and sounds best turned up so your neighbors enjoy it too. Haha.
2. What’s Happening Now: Tell us about what you are currently up to.
Well like all other bands 2020 has stifled any regular live work and touring so we have worked hard on the business side of things promoting our Liquid Sin album through different platforms.

3. What is next for you?
In June 2020 we got signed to 434 Management in the USA which we are very excited about. Our music is very popular in the USA so it’s great to have our management company based there too. We are working out a strategy to get to the USA post Covid-19 for a tour . As part of this we have now started writing songs for our second album which we want to have ready by February 2021. So far the writing is going really well.
Give Us A Hint Of Your Influences & Inspiration
For this section can any band members give me an example of an artist’s track that influenced or inspired them to chase a career in music.
If you can supply us with a YouTube link for the track so I can post the video in the feature, and give me a quote as to why this particular artist captured your imagination and influenced or inspired you to want to follow suit.
The band all have a wide range of influences from Blues through to Metal. But collectively AC/DC is the band that really inspires us for a career in music. The energy and down to earth, no frills nature of AC/DC is something that Mojo Alice totally relates to. We don’t use any processors or backing tracks etc, we keep it very organic both in the studio and live so it’s pure rock n roll – just like AC/DC. This live clip of Up To My Neck really sums it all up with the raw power and a great crowd!
