Vevo announces the release of Kaiser Chief’s live performance of “Golden Oldies.” Fronted by the charismatic Ricky Wilson with Simon Rix on bass, Andrew “Whitey” White on guitar, Nick “Peanut” Baines on keyboards and drummer Vijay Mistry, Kaiser Chiefs are considered one of Britain’s most treasured bands. Specializing in a melodic blend of classic Brit-pop, post-punk, and new wave, Kaiser Chiefs’ early blue-collar, pub-style take on indie rock managed to split the difference between timely and nostalgic.

“Golden Oldies” is off Kaiser Chiefs’ seventh studio album, Duck, released June 26th on Polydor Records. “Duck is an exciting album,” applauds The Telegraph, “packed with witty vignettes of modern life rammed home with anthemic sing-and-shout-along choruses thoroughly and exuberantly thrashed to within an inch of their life. “Golden Oldies” is now streaming on all platforms.
