Rock has very few remaining rebels— but Tommy London is one of them. Embodying the electrifying grit and glamour that define the genre, London is leading a one-man rock and roll revival…and fans are heeding the call.
The renowned frontman of New York City’s hometown heroes, The Dirty Pearls, London cut his teeth in the city’s after-hours underground alongside Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga remains, to this day, one of London’s dearest friends and fiercest supporters. And, in her words, “Who the F**k is Tommy London? He’s about to rock your ass off! Now get the f**k off your feet!!”
Straight from the streets of the Lower East side, London’s stories of love, loss and life have struck a chord throughout the country—heralding a long-awaited return to rock and roll’s roots. Fans in need of a fix will be pleased to learn that London is unleashing a slew of new singles throughout 2019. Powered by high-energy hooks, driving drums and guitars, and anthem-worthy lyrics, his just-released “Sugar Red” and “Make You Love Me” are already generating a groundswell of buzz. The tracks— each of which is subversively, sublimely catchy in its own right—are all produced by John Fields (Pink, Jimmy Eat World, Andrew WK).
London has blazed a barrier-breaking path across the genre, not only supporting and touring with Gaga herself, but with some of rock’s most influential and enduring acts— from KISS and Cheap Trick, to The Gin Blossoms, The Darkness, and Gaslight Anthem, among many others.
London’s live shows are legendary, regularly selling out iconic venues including the Gramercy Theater & Bowery Ballroom (as he did, twice, in 2018).
London’s larger-than-life stage presence (not to mention his contagiously catchy catalogue of hits) is fueled by the fact that he’s not only a rock star –but a diehard rock fan. In fact, London’s obsessive love for the craft has molded him into a bonafied authority on the genre, moonlighting as one of Sirius XM’s rock experts-in-residence. As a DJ on Sirius XM’s Hair Nation and Ozzy’s Boneyard, London gives fans their daily dose of rock.
