The new name in Death Metal, made up of members of Ted Maul, Dripback, Dead Beyond Buried and Onslaught and looking to pay homage to the bands that paved the way for genre, London based This Is Endless have formed looking to blend Death Metal with Hardcore and Grind as they aim for combining the best of those legends of Death.

The 9 tracks open with ‘Skin Cyst’ a track that opens with a dark and purposeful guitar shrouded in atmosphere, before exploding into a Death Metal musical offering that has aspects of Nu-Metal thrown in and a vocal that spits across the instruments as the mix between Brutal and start/stop Hardcore sounds as this fusion begins to make it way and find its feet and as it does it hits a breakdown of epic proportions. This opener shows that we are in for a tasty offering.

As the album progresses, we experience increased Grind influences as the guitars continue to slash away and that choppy flow carries on to batter away at your ear drums and the drums punish you with their relentless battering that is extremely satisfying to hear! The vocal heads fully Hardcore at time as the music matches and you start to feel some spin kicks or windmills building in side you, this really is a mixed bag of tricks that have been thrown into a meat grinder and what has come out is full of heavy wonders.

The 34 tracks fly by as the Brutal offering continues to surprise and make you wonder how This Is Endless have managed to create their own blend work so smoothly get retain its brutality and the structure of the tracks work so well together as they switch seamlessly between influences.

Formations of a World Below is an exciting creation that has taken the influences of those bands that the members listened to, kept all the Death Metal aspects and added their own flavour as well and the result is something new, fresh and extremely good. The new take on Death Metal is something that the genre may have needed, and This Is Endless may be what the fans need to throw something new in to the game. This is a fantastic offering to the Death Metal world and something that needs to be heard by the masses.
