(JOPLIN, MO – May 18th, 2018) Missouri metal quartet The Order of Elijah have released a music video for new single “1%”.

The track is taken from the band’s upcoming album ‘Pathos. Logos. Ethos’, which drops May 19th via Luxor Records and is available for pre-order HERE.

“The video of “1%” is completely allegorical with a 90’s vibe. The visuals convey the lyrics in a metaphorical way. The main character is a female who plays the role of The People. Her boss represents political elitists and the 1%. The gun is Liberty and Justice, while my character represents The Constitution. Have fun piecing it all together!” – Shannon Low, Vocals

The progressive metal outfit recently set off on tour with label mates Upon A Broken Throne, in support of the new album.

Pathos Logos Ethos Tour - Dates

Intertwining ferocious guitar work with an intricate and fluid vocal assault throughout their progressive metalcore arsenal, The Order Of Elijah is back with their third studio album.

The record speaks of defiance and disillusionment with the current sociopolitical climate, as The Order of Elijah take aim at the 1% on their explosive full-length.

“Quite memorable…5/5” – New Noise Magazine

The band now boasts a bubbling fan base nationwide, thanks to a slew of notable headline runs spreading their geographical stronghold as well as supports with genre heavy hitters Emmure, Attila, I See Stars & Motionless in White.

“An unprecedented onslaught of thunder…9/10” – The New Transcendence

The success of 2016’s “War At Heart” – which broke into the top 10 of the iTunes Metal Chart, receiving widespread acclaim – was soon followed by national headlines of a different sort in 2017, after lead vocalist Shannon Low denounced Christianity after studying Dawkins’ The God Delusion. This came much to the chagrin of a host of mainstream Christian publications who took exception to the band’s vocal exodus.

“1%” sets a striking and resonating tone for The Order of Elijah’s ‘Pathos. Logos. Ethos’, which is out May 19th.

The Order of Elijah is:
Shannon Low – Vocals
Bryan Cox – Guitar
James Copley – Bass
Jesse Paiano – Drums
