Hold onto your hats people, The New Roses are back and with an absolute banger of an album in Nothing But Wild. A rollercoaster of a ride that will tear you from limb to limb in a glorious Rock infused frenzy all delivered the only way these crazy kids know-how, full throttle.

Clearly influenced by the devil, The New Roses have summoned all the was great about 80’s and 90’s Rock and brought it right up into the 00’s with a bang, close your eyes and you can almost smell the sweat and stench of hippy oil from the pre-pubescent teenagers lined up along the sidewalks of the Sunset Strip. This is Rock Of Ages stuff right here, a snapshot in time when the six-string was king and Sleaze Rock ruled the roost, big hair and even bigger attitudes made the girls (& boys) weak at the knees and a huge hook could get you a gold disc on the wall. Like a soundtrack to Hot Tube Time Machine 3 (Just an idea lads) Nothing But Wild just ebbs and flows like the majestic bands of the days finest recordings, riff-tastic, wailing harmonics and bitchin’ vocals from Timmy Rough make for a seriously slick album.

These crazy kids have clearly been raised on Rock, sucked that proverbial tit dry and all grown up, have a balls-out attitude that they exhume via their recordings and live performances that have earned them a reputation as one of Europe’s finest Hard Rock outfits out there today. Nothing But Wild is one of their finest recordings to date and if you have yet to sample what The New Roses are all about, you’re in for a treat. Solid as a rock from start to finish with production to match the guys deliver on all fronts and remind us of why we fell in love good old fashioned Rock ‘N’ Roll in the first place.
