THE MAGUAS PRESENTS AN EXCLUSIVE, SOOTHING ACOUSTIC RENDITION OF “MIDNIGHT BLUE”!

THE SINGLE IS OFF THE GROUP’S RECENTLY RELEASED EP – “GOOD BEER”!

Alternative rock quintet The Maguas enters the finalizing stages of the promotional process of the group’s most recent EP – “Good Beer” – by releasing an exclusive acoustic version of one of the main singles off the said release – “Midnight Blue”! Being quiet, soothing and beautifully paced, this rendition represents the sense of balance in regards to catchiness and mood, with a twist of sadness and rawness, which is being showcased continuously throughout The Maguas’ catalogue as well. “Midnight Blue” is simple, catchy, yet very melancholic, and is a moment of true beauty that is created through enchanting, elegant vocal lines, intricate lyrics, lounge-like, mellow guitars and aura that is filled with a perfect blend of sadness and affection, ultimately instigating a wide spectrum of emotion in the listener.

Collectively, The Maguas comments on the nature and the idea behind the acoustic version of “Midnight Blue”: “This is an anecdotal track about unexpected love. The song is more so a self-realization about trust and accepting something special into life, despite the barriers previously built up. The high energy of “Midnight Blue” on our EP “Good Beer” brought forth a different, more hopeful tone to the rather darker elements of our latest release. We believe this new, acoustic rendition continues that same energy, while highlighting parts fans may have missed in the original version. We’re beyond excited to share it with them.”

“Midnight Blue” is off The Maguas‘ recently released, latest EP – “Good Bear” – now available everywhere:
