THE INDIGO PROJECT ARE BACK WITH STORMING NEW SINGLE ‘SERTRALINE’
Fresh from playing to packed out venues around the country in October and with a summer of festivals in their wake, Leeds grunge-pop-punk band The Indigo Project are back today with their new single, the riffy and infectious Sertraline. The new song showcases their command of fuzzy power chords and bright pop melodies, and follows acclaim from CLASH and BBC Introducing and repeated Spotify playlist support.

“This release means a lot to me,” explains frontman Joe Spink on the new track. “It’s about going through a tough stage in your life and being on the road to recovery. It’s been a long road but I’m glad to produce something positive and some of the best work I have ever written out of something so negative. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Sertraline got me through some really troubling times so I’m glad to be able to share something positive with everyone.”
Since forming as teenagers in Leeds in 2015, a string of dynamic singles has firmly established The Indigo Project as ones to watch – and with performances at Leeds and Reading Festivals and Kendal Calling and supports slots with DMAs, Maximo Park and The Sherlocks, the band have built a fervent and loyal young fanbase. Their brand of punkish, hooky and anthemic indie-pop centres on tales of late nights, bright lights, love and loss which strike an immediate chord with indie kids of all ages.
