On 12 February 2021, fresh off the heels of not one but TWO critically acclaimed album releases in 2020, retro pop wunderkind Jason Brewer, along with the musical collective he’s dubbed The Explorers Club, are poised to release their 3rd collection within the last few months. Available for the first time on CD, LP and streaming, through Goldstar Recordings, Jason Brewer has reached back into the archives on the latest release by The Explorers Club, simply called ‘Rarities Volume 1’.

‘Rarities Volume 1’ is a collection of long lost singles and various outtakes originally recorded between 2011 -2013 during the sessions for The Explorers Club’s second album, ‘Grand Hotel’.  The album boasts a set of superb cover versions of 60’s classics, such as ‘Hitchin’ A Ride’, ‘Stormy’ and ‘Walk On By’ as well as the original Orchestral Version of ‘Don’t Waste Her Time’.

These long-awaited sessions have been meticulously remastered, remixed and sequenced together into a satisfying and cohesive album produced by Jason Brewerwith brilliant engineer Matt Goldman and the legendary Mitch Easter (REM, Let’s Active).

With a brand new full studio album set to follow it in 2021, ‘Rarities Volume 1’ is another shimmering slice of retro pop that will delight the ever-growing fans of The Explorers Club. More music lovers are discovering these Explorers every day…
