THE DRIVER ERA

THE MUSIC PROJECT FROM ROSS AND ROCKY LYNCH

RELEASE NEW VIDEO FOR ‘A KISS

ROSS LYNCH- STAR OF NETFLIX TV SERIES
‘CHILLING ADVENTURES OF SABRINA’

 HEADLINING WORLD TOUR 2020

Los Angeles based alt-pop band band made up of brothers Ross and Rocky Lynch – THE DRIVER ERA have released another new video for ‘A Kiss.’

The video, which originally premiered on Billboard, was directed by Ross, brother Ryland Lynch and Gordy De St. Jeor. Talking about the new video Ryland Lynch said “‘A Kiss’ is the kind of music video you’d want to watch at a party. Both the song and the video have a sort of infectious almost-hypnotic energy that you can’t deny. This theme is brought to life visually in the video; it really highlights the beauty in letting loose and losing control every once in a while. Anything that mattered before this moment is irrelevant.”

Fans may know Ross Lynch from the breakout Netflix TV series ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ or playing serial Killer Jeffrey Dahmer in the movie ‘My Friend Dahmer’, so with social platforms reaping over 22 Million followers collectively, the tour will be a welcome treat for fans across the world.

The Driver Era have now released two videos – A Kiss and Forever Always– two tracks that show growth in the Lynch brothers’ musicality since their debut single “Preacher Man”. Within days since they were released, the tracks have been championed by streaming platforms and digital retailers – “A Kiss” being added to the top of Spotify’s ‘New Noise’ playlist, as well as ‘Alternative Beats’ and ‘The New Alt’. Additionally, “A Kiss” can be heard on Apple Music’s ‘Breaking Alternative’ playlist, Amazon Music’s ‘Fresh Alternative’ and Introducing Alternative’ playlists. The band have also been supported by BBC Radio 1 including being plays on the Annie Mac Show and included in Jack Saunders ‘New Wave.’

About The Driver Era:

Like the band name, the music of The Driver Era captures a certain classic feeling while looking toward tomorrow. With the two brothers, Ross and Rocky Lynch, writing, performing, and producing all of the tracks, their stylistically unpredictable music also conjures up every romantic association with heading out on the open road: limitless possibility, the thrill of escape, a refusal to stay in one place for any real length of time.

With massive hooks and immaculate production, songs like “Feel You Now” and “Low” show the tight musicianship that Ross and Rocky have honed over the years in their longtime band R5-a five-piece whose self-produced 2017 EP New Addictions was praised as “full of sharply constructed pop confections” by Rolling Stone. It was during that band’s recent tour, the two began dreaming up a new project that would allow them to explore their more experimental tendencies.

In between polishing off the new songs-and hitting the road for their first tour as The Driver Era, Ross is a critically acclaimed actor (he recently drew raves for his title role in the serial-killer biopic My Friend Dahmer and currently stars in Netflix’s The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina). And when they’re not actively creating, the two are often out riding around, listening back to mixes and working out song ideas, constantly expanding what’s possible in The Driver Era.
