The Distortion Project presents “A Grand Declaration of War”

The Distortion Project presents “A Grand Declaration of War” featuring six of Northern Ireland’s finest and most accomplished metal bands in an already thriving and flourishing heavy metal scene. Set to take place in the recently reopened (and really quite magnificent) Mandela Hall, this all-day event highlights the strength and diversity of dark and heavy music in this country.

Headline act The Crawling will also be celebrating the release of their third album that night and you can be assured that we’ll be pulling all the stops out to deliver the ultimate Crawling live experience. You will bear witness to the type of show not seen anywhere else in quite some time – this will be unique, spectacular and brilliant. A stage show and a performance for the ages. It will also be your only chance to catch them in Belfast for the rest of 2023. The other five bands are headline material in their own right such is the quality on offer making this one absolutely unmissable –the event of the year for Heavy music.

In addition, I will be doing physical tickets for this show in response to some previous posts and messages. They are on sale now from the links below alongside the digital versions. Physical tickets are strictly limited to 200 so if you want one, grab it now!

Stay tuned for further info and announcements, which will include details of a commemorative t-shirt to mark the occasion. If I get enough interest, I’ll open pre-orders for it. Otherwise, it will be available at the show. Full gig details below
