(Long Island, NY – July 10th, 2020) Long Island alternative rock project The Deep End has unveiled a brand new single.

“Haunting” (YouTube/Spotify) is taken from The Deep End’s upcoming sophomore EP ‘Icarus’, set for release on August 21st, 2020.

With the release of upcoming EP ‘Icarus, The Deep End has crafted an open, melodic and thoroughly accessible collection, balancing honest lyricism and hook-laden guitar work. The solo project of Max McGill nods to a cross section of influence from across alternative rock and post-hardcore, with new single “Haunting” setting a mouth-watering preview of what is to follow.

Since the Long Island native broke onto the scene with the release of 2019 debut EP ‘Broken Souls’, The Deep End has turned heads across state and country, with a unique, captivating and relatable brand of alternative rock. The EP, recorded with Point North vocalist John Lundin struck a chord with fans, particularly lead single “Not Safe”, which has gone on to rack up over 230K streams on Spotify alone.

The Deep End kicked off Summer 2020 with a new music video for lead single “It Goes Around Again”, with the track set to take it’s place next to “Haunting” on McGill’s upcoming EP.

‘Icarus’ is set for release on August 21st, 2020. “Haunting” is out now on YouTube and Spotify.
