Musical marvel Tal Wilkenfeld’s debut vocal album, ‘Love Remains,’ (BMG) debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart this week. The album is also at #7 in the Independent chart.
The Australian-born, LA-based musician who has recorded and toured with several legends including Jeff Beck, Prince, The Allman Bros, Mick Jagger, and Herbie Hancock, reveals her bonafide talent as a singer and songwriter on this new release.
From “Corner Painter,” her rollicking debut single featuring Benmont Tench on the pump organ, to “Haunted Love,” a soft selection of melodious bass and string sections, to the warm ballad “Under The Sun,” with yearning sounds of a violin, Love Remains showcases Tal’s talents on full display.
Tal currently graces the cover of the UK’s Bass Guitar Magazine, recently had a two-night sold-out run at NYC’s Mercury Lounge, sessions with Paste, iHeart and BUILDSeriesNYC, plus appeared on the latest episode of WTF with Marc Maron.
