As announced previously with some various audio / video excerpts (“Coac”, Baobob…), experimental jazz/math-rock/prog/electronica duo QONIAK just released their brand new full-length album called ‘Mutatio’ on CD/LP/Limited LP edition & Digital through Hummus Records.
In addition to the official release-news, the band also shared the whole effort for full-stream on Bandcamp.
Taking contemporary jazz and cutting it to pieces with a techno-indus blade, math rock scalpel, overlapping tempos and rhythmical breaks gleaned from Meshuggah, one foot in Area 51, the other in the underground passageways of Stranger Things, meet QONIAK.
