Stuck Out // Lie Through Your Teeth // EP Review

Aussie four-piece Pop Punkers Stuck Out released their latest EP on the 18th of December and it’s an absolute cracker. Four tracks that are full of high-intensity balls-out pop-punk but with a more polished sound. “Inverse” kicks off with a catchy beat that is so infectious you will be tapping your foot to it instantly and as the chorus hits you will be singing along with it by the end as it is unbelievable hooky, musically the guys are on point big time with everything being seamless as Walker’s vocals give the track a big push. “False Promise” has a heavier feel with more bass and a pounding drum track that kicks in over Walker’s gruff vocals, with a cool riff running throughout and funky little guitar twists making it an excellent track. “Hollow” reminds you of a Third Eye Blind track, an emoesque style with heavy drums and guitars that build to a magnificent crescendo as Walker kills it vocally. “Mindless” featuring Mikaila Delgado from Yours Truly is a typical pop-punk track, full of energy with a kicking bassline, both singers give it 100% which only adds to the intensity of the song, pure unadulterated pop-punk and its deadly.

“Lie Through Your Teeth” was released Friday 18th of December and it will go a long way to putting these guys at the top of the pop-punk mountain.
