St Louis punks Wes Hoffman and Friends have released a new single + video titled “Where Summer Never Ends,” a track off their upcoming LP, due out next year. The single is the follow-up to their recent 2022 EP ‘Rewrite The Story.’

Hoffman says ““With ‘Where Summer Never Ends’ I wanted to write a fun, summertime tune that was easy to sing along to as well as relatable. The song is about deciding whether or not to stay in a difficult situation or to cut your losses and simply move on. We had a lot of fun filming the video and asked a lot of our friends to come be a part of it. We’re really looking forward to playing this one on the road.”

About:

Wes Hoffman and Friends is a Midwest pop punk band from St. Louis, MO. Though Wes Hoffman was an active member of the St. Louis scene in the early-mid 2000’s he took a break before returning to music in 2017. After a few collaborations with drummer Justin Unterseh, he decided to form a band and give it another go.

After a couple years of playing shows and releasing a few singles, 2021 saw the release of “What’s Left of Me,” the first track off their upcoming EP, “Rewrite The Story.” The full EP was released in January of 2022 and the band then began playing all over the midwest to support the release.

Their newest single “Where Summer Never Ends,” is the first track off the band’s debut full length, due out in 2023. The song is about determining whether to stay or leave a situation you’re not satisfied with. The single is accompanied by a video produced and directed by Dane McCrary and Lane Twellman.

The live band is rounded out by longtime friend and musical collaborator Jacob Boyd on bass, and Johnny Wehner and Stephen Fee on guitars. The band continues to tour throughout the midwest. They’ve shared the stage with punk legends FEAR, and have dates lined up opening for A Wilhelm Scream, and Much The Same at Punk The Burbs 5 in Chicago later this year.
