“Soul Blind understand the melancholy power that you can conjure when you combine sighing, downcast melodies with overwhelming pedal-stomp riffs.” – Stereogum (40 Best New Bands of 2021)

“Channeling the epic riffs of Siamese Dream-era Smashing Pumpkins and the snarling vocals of Oasis, the three songs that make up Third Chain are proof that the New York trio are ready to make their mark on the alternative rock scene.” – UPROXX

“Soul Blind are quickly making a name for themselves as successors of a bygone era.” – DSCVRD

“Soul Blind’s ability to quickly master their sound only hints at good things to come” – PunkNews

Following a standout year in 2021 with the release of their EP, Third ChainSoul Blind are setting out to make their mark in 2022. The band recently recorded their upcoming debut LP with Grammy-nominated producer Will Yip (Title Fight, The Menzingers, Circa Survive), set for release later this year on Other People Records. To tide fans over until then, the band have shared a music video for “Misplaced” from Third Chain. Directed by Justin Pietropaoli, the clip perfectly captures the mood of the shoegaze-driven song through fuzzed out visual effects created by Matthew Brown. Soul Blind are also about to embark on a full U.S. tour with Drug Church, One Step Closer, and Lurk, kicking off March 6th in Sacramento, CA. Hailing from Hudson Valley, NY, Soul Blind pushes the boundaries of alternative rock with a rich collage of sounds and an injection of hardcore attitude. Formed in 2018, the band has a nuanced approach to songwriting – you’ll hear inspiration from the likes of The Smashing Pumpkins, Alice in Chains, and Deftones alongside nods to Oasis and Third Eye Blind. The group made their debut with the Willpower EP in 2018, followed by Untitled later that year and a handful of promo singles in 2019. On their latest EP, Third Chain, Soul Blind provide a modern sensibility to those fuzzed-out sounds of ‘90s alt-rock and grunge, while tackling the emotions that come with self-reflection and outward relationships. Recorded with Jon Markson and Adam Cichocki, Third Chain is the band’s first release with Other People Records.

Soul Blind is Cen (vocals/bass), Justin Sarica (guitar), Finn Lovell (guitar), and Steve Hurley (drums).
