Slash Ft. Myles Kennedy And The Conspirators // 4 // Album Review

Feb 11th sees the return of Legendary Guitarist Slash return with his latest solo offering alongside Myles Kennedy And The Conspirators once again for their 4th venture together.

The album itself is Slash’s fifth solo album and his first with new label mate Gibson Records. The album itself recorded in Nashville and produced by the one and only Dave Cobb, saw the guys travel cross country on a bus to the respective studio and utilise a live approach when recording this album. I guess as a band of brothers the time to shake things up and let their raw limitless talent flow free was too much to restrain.

As you would expect from an album produced by such stellar musicians there isn’t a bad track on this record, Slash’s ability to create easy on the ear guitar work that just digs at you will always be one of his greatest strengths, alongside his bitchin’ solo work, you get the whole nine yards in one beautifully put together package. Myles Kennedy on vocals as always is an absolute pleasure, one of the finest voices in modern rock, he elevates any album he is on and with the quality of songwriting and musicianship on show already, Slash Ft. Myles Kennedy And The Conspirators have a winning combination right here.

A killer album from start to finish and one that will sit perfectly alongside their previous recordings, 4 will no doubt gobble up hours and hours on peoples playlists and no doubt become a new fan favourite.
