Victorious is a beautifully produced and executed album, right from the off you are fully immersed in a majestic sonic rollercoaster that pushes and pulls your from one end to the other, the fluid songwriting is highly immersive and the rich vocal quality of both Cooper and Ledger interacting make for a highly addictive and engaging album. With gargantuan sounding production songs like ‘Victorious’ come crashing through your stereo speakers with a bang, there’s a nice balance across the album that brings you full-on rocking numbers that mesh nicely alongside emotive and evocative songwriting to keep you on toes.
As you would expect Skillet has once again delivered an album of real quality from start to finish, the band are on fine form and once again Cooper and Ledger deliver a solid album which will appease their army of fans through an album born out of passion,a journey taken by the band and told through their lyrics spilt out across twelve intriguing tracks that ask you to brave the journey with them, if you are ready and willing.
