(New York, NY – June 16, 2021) Renowned medical expert and bestselling author Deepak Chopra once said “the mind and body are inseparable.” With 15 years of experience in alternative medicine, NYC-based singer-songwriter, David D’Alessio, understands that statement first hand. After a year without an opportunity to physically touch one another, D’Alessio’s upcoming single, “Talking With My Hands,” further accentuates the importance of the language of touch and physical connection. The second release from his upcoming EP This Far Apart, the haunting yet upbeat track reminds us the human body will always reveal the truth. David D’Alessio rolls out “Talking With My Hands” on all digital platforms on Friday, June 18, 2021.

Written and produced by Hawaiian-born D’Alessio, “Talking With My Hands,” additionally vocalizes the tension between sexuality and sensuality. The single touches on the subtle differences between a desire that goes unfulfilled and a focused urgency to physically touch another.

A staple in the music industry since 2007, David D’Alessio released his debut album Songs To Undress Your Ego and his follow up album Some Girls, the latter, hitting the iTunes New Pop chart, peaking at #68. The musician has toured internationally and nationally and has shared the stage with some songwriting greats, including two-time Grammy Award winning Colbie Caillat, Missy Higgins and Lifehouse.
