Sheffield’s ‘UNTIL 9′ release their new EP ‘Look At Me Now’, out now.

With the release of two stellar singles ‘Headstone’ and more recently, ‘Skin’, Sheffield-based four-piece, UNTIL 9 separate themselves from the heard with their powerful debut EP.  Every now and again, certain bands spring up from the underground with the aura of an “old soul” and with UNTIL 9, there is a feeling that these guys have been at this for a very long time.

The truth? Having only originated back in 2020 due to the fallout of the pandemic, and each with a history in Sheffield’s local underground scene, the guys instantly connected and started creating heavy melodic anthems, combined with lyrics that reflect the challenges and changes over the last two years, leading to the decision to make things official, hence UNTIL 9 was formed.

From the get-go, it was clear that the chemistry between all members was something out of the ordinary, and with that came a powerful collection of songs, that are brimming with heart-soaring melodies, exceptional songwriting, and meaty riffs that should please even the most critical heavy music lovers.

‘Look At Me Now’ features previous singles ‘Headstone’ and ‘Skin’ to which both have both made a welcoming impact across the UK and Ireland’s underground scene as well some parts of North America, with independent and reputable radio platforms adding the tracks on their playlists.

Speaking of the EP the band commented: “The EP is an anger-motivated collection of songs directed at the unjust, unbalanced and unfairness of today’s society. Those who were detained to fail are victorious when they overachieve, ie. ‘Look At Me Now.”

Friday, March 25th sees the release of ‘Look At Me Now’ and contains the following tracks:
Masochist
Look At Me Now
Gallows
Pigs
Skin
Headstone

UNTIL 9 are:
Bass – Kevin Smith
Drums – Mark Greenwood
