SAVING VICE RELEASE “SO SAFE” ACOUSTIC: LISTEN
Independent Vermont metalcore band SAVING VICE – Tyler Small (vocals), Chase Papariello (vocals), Robbie Litchfield (guitar), Kenjamin Smiertelny (bass), and Sam Whelton (drums)- are slowing down the pace and releasing an acoustic rendition of a track off of their debut album Hello There. “So Safe” acoustic is self-produced and recorded by guitarist Robbie Litchfield (Hell Here Studios). It was mixed and mastered by Randy Pasquarella of Pasquarella Recordings (Currents, If I Were You).
More relevant than ever with the state of the world, the track itself is about always being separated from the people you love and how hard long-distance relationships can be when you’re torn between two places and the anxiety of worrying about their safety and not being around for them. Vocalist Tyler Small says that he hopes the track is “whatever anyone needs it to be” during this time of uncertainty.
“So Safe is a love note to someone far away that you worry about every day you’re not with them, we wanted to make the song feel like a lullaby.”
