Samantha Fish is back with yet another signature album in the form of Kill Or Be Kind, a gnarly blues infused beauty that just grips you from start to finish. Right from the off Fish envelops you in her gritty, ethereal bluesy style with a killer track in ‘Bulletproof’ slide guitar to the max and Fish’s signature vocal style make for a stellar introduction to yet another highly engaging album.

The album’s title track ‘Kill Or Be Kind’ is reminiscent of the late Amy Winehouse with a sultry laid back vibe delivered beautifully as only Fish knows how, each track is beautifully melodic and draws you in further to her magical style. Fish has this classy style both musically and visually that is just mesmerizing which makes for a highly enjoyable fusion that just makes you want to dive in head first, her guitar work is sublime too as she lays down some beautiful solo work amongst and an album filled with glorious song writing.

Tracks like ‘Watch it Die’ just rip it up and showcase her gnarly side with a sick rhythm kicking throughout the track, you can just imagine it live and in your face. The album has plenty of peaks and valleys to keep the listener guessing where it’s going next, fused with beautifully delivered vocals and bitchin’ guitar work Samantha Fish is a revelation and an artist who should be on everyone’s lips.

Kill Or Be Kind is out now via Rounder Records and via all purveyors of fine music.

Samantha is hitting the road in early 2020 to bring her little slice of magic to the UK once again, catch her while you can.
