Grammy Nominated and RIAA Certified Gold-selling rock band RED release their seventh studio album, Declaration, on the 10th April 2020. A highly anticipated release the Nashville, Tennessee Hard Rock / Metal outfit has forged a formidable army of fans over the years and built a solid reputation as one of the hardest grafting bands out there on the touring scene.

Declaration sees their return in 2020 with an absolute monster of an album, right from the off you are thrust in this gargantuan sounding recording with ‘All For You’ with its gnarly riffage and huge sounding vocals you know that this is going to be one seismic ride! With a killer breakdown, midway through you know you’ll need to hang on tooth and nail to make it the full way through this killer recording.

‘Infidel’ doesn’t let up, banging from the start you can just see the waves of people in the audience when played live bouncing from start to finish off the back of its rhythmic backbone. Each and every track has a behemoth melodic quality that just pulls you in and makes you wanna sing along from the off, the guitars sound huge as do the backline thrusting the recordings down your throat with each and every thrash of the guitars and slam of the bass and drums. The downtuned guitars provide these larger than life riffs but which are perfectly balanced against the melodic qualities within the songwriting that just makes each and every track resonate, you are immediately aware of the experience and artistry within and that grips you and doesn’t let go from start to finish.

The album ebbs and flows beautifully, taking you on the ride of your life as you get battered and bruised and yet still ask for more, they toss out gargantuan tracks one after another enveloping you inside this chaotic and crazy, beautiful world of angst and brutality all perfectly packaged in violent melody. Breakdown after breakdown you get the teeth shaken out of your head and pummelled within an inch of your life and yet it’s not enough! Gimme more!!! A vastly experienced outfit they have clearly pulled their resources and fuelled all that time on the road, the angst and energy from their live performances and poured it out onto Declaration and more, an absolutely savage recording you’ll be hard pushed to find a better recording this year.

A stunning effort from the Nashville outfit, Declaration is an album that should be on everyone’s radar. A stellar effort from RED could well be their finest recording to date.

Declaration is out April 10th
