Pretoria-based Progressive Deathcore Titans Human Nebula released blistering new single and video for ANDROMEDA featuring Lwandile Prusent (Vulvodynia, Crayon, Technopath & XavlegbmaofffassssitimiwoamndutroabcwapwaeiippohfffX)

Gareth Reed (Vocalist) states that “Andromeda has a very deep and personal meaning to me about losing someone I loved very much. How well we knew each others desires and guarded each others secrets. Like the story, I felt I had abandoned her (Andromeda) to a world of monsters. It speaks about the pain I felt looking at her face after she passed, and the guilt I live with. The choruses however sing about finding the strength to live life in honour of her memory and what it takes to piece your life back together. It’s a long way from over, but Andromeda gets me through most days. If you can relate in any way, I sincerely hope the song can help you through even if it’s just a little.”

Timothy James Lotter (Guitars) adds that “On the song as a whole, for me personally Andromeda was an exploration of how far we can push the boundaries of our technical and song writing abilities as a band and a big step in the evolution of our sound. It also features one of my all time favourite guitar solos by the phenomenal Lwandile Prusent.”

“It’s been an absolute blast working with the guys from Human Nebula” says Lwandile Prusent. “I’m so honoured they chose me to feature on Andromeda! It’s so refreshing to see such a hard working local band in this scene and I think it’s not a stretch to say that their future is super bright.  I love the Nebula boys to death and I hope everyone digs the new video!”

“Andromeda still blows me away sometimes” comments Kyle Botha (Guitars). “I remember my first thought after hearing Tim play the main riff being “how the hell are we going to pull this off”. Andromeda really challenged and made me better in more ways than one, such as my skill set as a guitarist; writer; producer and I will be forever in your debt Andromeda.”

Colours fade
reveals your face
Colours fade
reveals my disgrace
I am so sorry
I couldn’t be there x2

Luminescent light
Leaks in through the window
Nostalgia takes flight
Secrets only we know

Calm of petrichor
Humbles my heartache
If only ephemeral
Until my eyes awaken

Until I awake

Face the sun
Let go
The darkness that you hold
Inside

Day breaks me away from reality
Sonder keeps me from revealing

Colours fade
Reveals your face
Colors fade
Reveals my

disgrace

Until I awake

Face the sun
Let go
The darkness that you hold
Inside (until I awake)
Decode
All you know
And rebuild
What you believe

SOLO

Face the sun
Let go
The darkness that you hold
Inside (until I awake)
Decode
All you know
And rebuild
What you believe

Creator
I reckon a reckoning
I await the moment to take
Your crown
As king

ABOUT HUMAN NEBULA
___________________________________________________

Human Nebula is a Progressive Deathcore band from Pretoria, South Africa. A geometrical blend of earth shattering chuggs, interplanetary melodies and metamorphosing screams.

Human Nebula congealed in late 2017 when Gareth Reed and Kyle Botha came up with the idea. Gareth states that “I wanted to create something that satisfied my carnal need for brutally heavy music, but also contented my ambition to make something progressively alluring and beautiful”. Kyle adds that “we wanted to make something that allowed creative freedom and eventually not need any direction from the members themselves, but rather would shape and form itself into what it needs to be with all the different elements blended into it.”

With vision in mind and word of mouth, the people who would come to mold and define the concept were recruited. Namely Tim Lotter, Dale McHardy and Gavin Grobbler, no auditions were needed. And together with their creative input and exceptional writing; evolved the project into something beyond measure: into the band you see before you today.

Almost a year of writing, recording and practicing took place until Human Nebula launched under the name on 17 November 2018 for their first live show and EP release entitled Pillars Of Creation. Human Nebula has subsequently been working hard at conquering the world and played in the Wacken Metal Battle final mere months after formation. Human Nebula recently won the South African Metal Music Awards (SAMMA) for best EP “Pillars of Creation”.
