Bristol-based UK Alt/Indie Rock band Pompadour have dropped their debut EP Cut To The Chase and it makes quite a statement. Born out of the ashes of a previous project, frontwoman and bass slapper Tamsin Sayers and guitarist Kearney Day joined up with a best friend and drummer Toby Holbrook to create Pompadour, a quirky and highly addictive trio with a voice all of its own.

Their debut EP encapsulates their unique take on their Alt/Rock and Indie vibe with sharp, and punchy tracks that immediately resonate with the listener. Well crafted, they capture your imagination and take you on that sonic rollercoaster with this powerful trio as they push and pull at you across five engaging recordings. Produced, mixed and mastered by Tom Cory at Bath Spa recording studios the production is flawless which showcases the quality of the songwriting as it envelopes you track by track, it’s easy to understand why Pompadour has attracted attention from the likes of Planet Rock, BBC Upload, and BBC Introducing.

A band on the up for sure and definitely one to watch for 2020.

Cut To The Chase is out now via all good DSP’s and via the band’s Official Website.
