(Stockholm, Sweden – November 30th, 2018) Swedish pop-punk outfit Out of My Way has released a double acoustic single. “Why She Left”/“The Beach is For Lovers” is out now.

The split draws on an acoustic version of one track from the band’s debut EP, alongside a cover of the Neck Deep classic.

Out of My Way released their rookie EP “Whistleblower” earlier this year.

Formed earlier this year in Stockholm, Out of My Way has taken little time to craft an engaging and hook-heavy melodic punk sound. Debut EP ‘Whistleblower’ preceded the release of latest single “Built to Last”, with the Swedish trio delivering a sound derived of a blend of old-school and modern pop-punk, sitting between the pop-punk staples like Millencolin and the modern-day style of State Champs.

Out of My Way hooks listeners with their catchy vocal melodies and infectious delivery, set over the top of a heavy rhythm section. The band’s lyrics tackle relatable topics, including politics, personal struggle, relationships, and the quest for self-discovery.

As the band continues to pick up recognition from the alternative music world, “Built to Last” has been added to Spotify playlist Skatepark Punks, the perfect home for the punchy, defiant anthem.

Watch the music video for “Built to Last”, out now.

Out of My Way is:
