The band tells Substream, “Whatever Happened, Happened is a semblance of the modern day dating scene where attention spans are dwindling and chivalry is lost. Everything is communicated via some dating app or social media and our generation, when actually taking the “old fashioned” route to dating, is quickly bored and looking for the next thing.”

Upcoming shows:

May 17th & 18th – Jersey Shore Fest – Seaside Heights, NJ
May 22nd – The Fire – Philadelphia, PA
June 28th – Cornchella – Artemas, PA
July 20th – Roxy & Dukes Roadhouse – Dunellen, NJ

About The View From Here:

Rising from the suburban sprawl of Central New Jersey, The View From Here delivers a sound influenced by a myriad of artists ranging from Dance Gavin Dance to Taking Back Sunday.

Reminiscent of the music scene of the mid-2000s, the band brings listeners a familiar sound while also providing a refreshing new take on heavy rock music.

Forming in early 2016, The New Jersey band teamed up with Mike Lisa (Hidden In Plain View) to record their debut EP “New Perspective” which blends elements of post-hardcore and pop-driven indie rock to deliver a unique combination of catchy choruses and the heavy hitting riffs.
