Since the release of debut single “Awaken”, New Mexico metalcore outfit Lights on The Coast have honed an impassioned and unequivocally melodic sonic soundscape. 2019’s “Memories” was another step forward for the Albuquerque trio, with a quickly maturing amalgam of riveting riffs and weighty breakdowns defining their sound. Written during the toils of the pandemic, new EP ’Signals’ is a reflective look at life, personal growth and relationships, made exponentially more poignant by the sudden passing of guitarist Victor Hernandez in early 2021. Having supported genre high-flyers including The Plot in You, Secrets and Convictions, Lights on The Coast’s next chapter commences with the release of new EP ‘Signals’. Signals is out now on Manic Kat Records. Watch the band’s music video for “Wraith”. |
