So for anyone unfamiliar with yourself, tell us a little bit about your backstory and how you ended up here.
We’re a band from New Jersey called Dig Two Graves. The drummer Kenny and I (Jaybee) had been trying to start a band since like 2nd grade. Then in my first, and only year of college, I met Mike in class, and we found Jesse on Instagram and the rest is history. The basic goal was to merge really pretty classical piano/ambient stuff, and heavy music, and it just evolved from there.
2. What’s Happening Now: Tell us about what you are currently up to, Here you can put in a press release to plug your latest offering.
We’re writing our first full-length album right now. It’s coming together really well, we’re stoked to record it and get it out there. And of course still promoting our last release, an EP called “Deathwish.”
3. What is next for you?
We’re gonna finish up this album, and then hopefully tour a bunch for it, corona-permitting.
Tell us about your Influences & Inspiration
There are a bunch of artists that influenced my direction for Dig Two Graves. The main ones would probably be Dir En Grey, The Gazette, Kero Kero Bonito, Story of Hope, and Silent Planet. There really isn’t anything philosophical about it, I really just want to make music that people can have fun with. I don’t have any sort of lofty goals like changing anyone’s life. I just want to feel free, and making music makes me feel like the freest man in the world.
