(Minneapolis, MN – November 16th, 2018) Minneapolis alternative/post-hardcore outfit Divide The Fall has debuted their new music video for “The Storm”.

The track is taken from Divide The Fall’s self-titled debut EP which dropped earlier this year.

Vocalist Matthew DeMar spoke exclusively to Metal Insider, to discuss the new video.

Formed in Minnesota in late 2017, Divide The Fall has worked hard in their first 12 months to craft a solid resume and flourishing regional reputation.

The focal point of the band’s first year is the impressive ‘Divide The Fall’, a rookie EP brimming with appetite, a sound combining riveting instrumental work, knockout choruses and scintillating breakdowns. Divide The Fall has opted for the route of hard graft, playing numerous regional and national shows, sharing the stage with genre legends such as P.O.D, Alien Ant Farm and LIT. culminating in a headline tour earlier this Fall.

Taking influence from the likes of I Prevail, Hands Like Houses & Breaking Benjamin, Divide The Fall hones a range of musical stock from alternative, metal and hardcore. Despite this, the young quartet has developed a chemistry and cohesion, both live and on record, belying their inexperience. Their hard work has been repaid with a flurry of statewide radio play, further boosting the band’s stock as they head into the new year.

February 2019 sees the Midwest four-piece head to the studio for work on their debut full-length, with producer Jordon Popp(Architects, Janus, Seven Day Sonnet) at Kiwi Audio and Glasswall Studios in Chicago, IL.

In the meantime, looking to build on a constructive year #1, Divide The Fall heads into the holidays with the release of the electric “The Storm”.

Divide The Fall is:

Ethan Weinaug – Vocals
Jake Hankel – Guitar
Matthew DeMar – Bass/Vocals
Jack Mckoskey – Drums
