METAL POWERHOUSE VOLA ANNOUNCE DEBUT US HEADLINE TOUR WITH SUPPORT FROM CINEMATIC ROCK OUTFIT EARTHSIDE

VOLA – THESE BLACK CLAWS FEAT. SHAHMEN

Danish-Swedish powerhouse VOLA continue to break the rules with their effervescent blend of electronic and progressive pop-tinged metal. Having stormed the charts with their 2021 album ‘Witness’ that was mixed & mastered by Jacob Hansen, VOLA continues to take their equal parts melancholic and uplifting live performance to the stage – selling out shows across Europe on the way.

Now it’s time for VOLA to expand their horizons and enter the US market for the first time. Joining them on the tour will be cinematic rock outfit and label mates Earthside

VOLA says:

“In Denmark, the US is still somewhat the promised land. There’s a special aura of adventure in going there and playing shows. There is that idea that if you can make it there, you can make it anywhere. One of our main aims is to expand our fanbase in this market. With this tour we are just scratching the surface, so we are excited to see where this will lead. We hope that this short tour is just the beginning of a bigger journey.”

‘Witness’ is out now and explores unsettled relationships on both an individual and societal scale, and continues to open the minds and hearts of VOLA fans all around the world.

When it was released, the album ‘Witness’ was a critical smash, surpassing an incredible 14m streams already, it picked up international acclaim from Metal Hammer, Prog Magazine, Distorted Sound and Kerrang Radio & TV in the UK, reaching #7 in the Rock & Metal Album Charts. They were picked up by SiriusXM for multiple tracks and Metal Radio in the US which saw the album reach the Top 20 in the Billboard Current Hard Rock Charts and Top 25 in the Billboard New Artist/Heatseekers Album Chart. Tracks from the album were also added to numerous prominent playlists across Spotify, Amazon and Apple Music.

Earthside says this on joining the tour:
“Earthside is excited to FINALLY be getting back out in front of all of you lovely people, and doing so with our friends in VOLA is a particularly fitting way to do it! Our first two shows we ever played in Europe were with VOLA and Port Noir in their native Scandinavia, and now we come full circle joining VOLA on their first-ever tour in our home region of North America. We love these guys, and we cannot wait to both share the stage with VOLA and maybe share a bit of something new with all of you.  See you there!”

ABOUT EARTHSIDE

When an artist resurfaces after years spent in creative immersion, whatever they return with needs to make a statement. This is even more the case when said artist is following up a debut as heavily acclaimed as 2015’s A Dream In Static—a work widely regarded as one of the finest, most attention-seizing debut albums in recent rock and metal music. Connecticut based Cinematic Rock outfit Earthside begin chapter 2 of their journey.

Through the positively apocalyptic sounds of one of the largest pipe organs in the world (recorded at the First Congregational Church in Los Angeles) and an earth-shaking mix courtesy of Randy Staub, known for mixing Metallica’s legendary symphonic live album, S&M, the effect of Earthside’s latest song isn’t merely devastating; it’s inescapable. Directed by Maxime Tiberghien & Sylvain Favre, renowned for Gojira’s ‘Another World’, the animated short film has been screening at multiple Film Festivals over the course of 2022.
