Formed from the ashes of Acadia, Portland alternative rockers Dancer have delivered their debut single, “Lost in Blue”. Heart-on-sleeve, piercing and unequivocally honest, “Lost in Blue” is a compelling arrival on the scene from the Maine quartet.

Drawing on the likes of Turnover, The Hotelier and Citizen, the quartet’s lead single is rife with heart-on-sleeve lyricism and unwavering accessibility that nods to much of the finest indie/emo from the late ’00’s-early ’10s.

“I spent many years banging my head against a wall trying to find the perfect formula, the perfect blend of music that I thought people wanted to hear. Dancer is different. It’s real, raw, honest and completely genuine. It is the first time I have put my vulnerability out there. Honestly, it terrifies me”Jameson Trudel

Taken from Dancer’s upcoming debut EP, “Lost in Blue” is out now on Spotify and YouTube.
