Lee Brice // Hey World // Album Review

GRAMMY-nominated, ACM & CMA award-winning singer-songwriter Lee Brice is set to release his latest album, Hey World, on November 20th via Curb Records.

With over 2.2 billion on-demand streams under his belt you know this new LP is going to hold your attention and of course, Lee Brice delivers. Written and recorded in our unprecedented times the music is a reflection of where Lee is right now and it is no surprise that this is one enjoyable LP.

Lee says: “Hey World is just my next step in life. Where I am, who I am, what I love, and what I feel,”  “From the songs to the production to the order they play in, I always have and still do make it my goal to get better and better at what I do. Short of my family, my wife, and friends, my music is the deepest part of me. So, I am overjoyed to say that I think I have made my best project to date. I stand by everything I have ever done but pull from it as well to help me exceed my own expectations. Because of my team, my co-producers, my engineers, my label, I was able to make what I hope will be my most successful album to date.”

Opening with the straight-up country rocker Atta Boy, the quality of the production and songwriting hit you in just the right place… 3 minutes of pure perfection. Then the storytelling begins .. “One of Them Girls” the story of dating wrapped up neatly and a great tune to back up the lyrics.

We get drinking songs .. who doesn’t want “More Beer”, love songs “Save the Roses”, comments on lifestyle. “Good Ol’ Boys” and of course the storytelling that country is best known for …” Hey World”.

This is an LP to get immersed in and just let it flow over you enjoying the great songs and soulful storytelling that Lee is best known for.

Lee will be on tour in the UK and Europe in 2021
