Lavasocks Records Announces Nuisance Reissue
Today, Lavasocks Records are proud to announce a reissue or Nuisance’s “Confusion Hill”! The LP will come out on December 10th, but you can hear a track now (see New Noise debut)….
Nuisance, a band from Humboldt County, California, released their debut album “Confusion Hill” on Lookout Records in 1991. Lookout was one of the most successful independent labels of all time, but they were famous more for bands like Green Day and Operation Ivy. Unlike many of their pop-punk labelmates, Nuisance fused country and bluegrass with punk’s guttural vocals and bombastic rhythm sections, resulting in one of the best “cow-punk” records to date. 30 years later, it’s finally been remixed and presented the way the band originally intended, with the trio delivering all the kick drum, bass, and twang you could ask for.
