KAIXO releases new single ‘It’s Over’ (feat. Fight The Fade), out now
Fresh off a string of searing remixes for artists such as Celldweller, Circle Of Dust, Daedric, Scandroid, Fight The Fade, and Soul Extract and a debut on the FiXT:Noir compilation, Kaixo returns with an all new midtempo single, “It’s Over” (feat. Fight The Fade). “Ever since Midtempo gained traction as a genre I’ve been meaning to try it out,” states Kaixo. “This track turned out so great, but this banger would not have been complete without the incredible vocals from Fight The Fade!”
“It’s Over” (feat. Fight The Fade) is Kaixo‘s first foray into the midtempo genre and features intense rhythms, distorted beats, and thought provoking lyrics courtesy of metal core band Fight The Fade.
“It’s Over” (feat. Fight The Fade) is out now on all platforms from the independent multi-genre label FiXT.
Drum and bass sci-fi-inspired artist Kaixo didn’t always know he was going to be a musician. In fact, growing up he had little care for what was playing on the radio and hated music class. It wasn’t until 2015 when he touched his first DAW at the age of fourteen that it clicked and a new world opened for him. Kaixo was born with a few simple goals: Learn and improve.
In 2018 Kaixo discovered Celldweller, and the mix of electronic, metal, and rock that he’d heard growing up resonated with him. In 2019 he stopped releasing music entirely instead focusing on the creative process itself. Taking inspiration from Celldweller, The Anix, Voicians, 3D Stas, Circle of Dust, Scandroid, and Muzz, his entire taste in music switched from EDM to electronic rock/metal and after a year-long break, Kaixo dropped what he considers his first real album, How it Began in mid 2020. It was followed in 2021 by The Aqaer EP, a six track throwback to Kaixo’s original electronic style.
In 2020 Kaixo came to the attention of independent record label FiXT when he won first place in The Anix‘s “Die With You” Remix Contest and signed a multi-album deal with the label in late 2021. In 2022 Kaixo is releasing a series of remixes for FiXT artists including Celldweller, Scandroid, Fight The Fade, Circle of Dust, and Daedric, ahead of releasing original material for a new full-length album.
