Sci-Fi-inspired EDM artist Kaixo returns with his first original Drum & Bass track via FiXT titled, “Invicta Aorist.” Combining forces with fiery nu-metal six-piece outfit Seething Akira for the new single, “Invicta Aorist” features a passionate vocal performance, layered over strong kinetic rhythms, synthesizers, and guitars for an upbeat & determined atmosphere full of hope and quantified by thoughtful lyrics illustrating the promise that nothing bad lasts forever.
“My first DnB original on FiXT after so many DnB remixes!” says Kaixo. “So glad I got to work with Seething Akira to transform this upbeat DnB track and push it just a bit further with their amazing vocal performance!”
“Invicta Aorist” (feat. Seething Akira) is out now from independent multi-genre label FiXT.
Drum and bass sci-fi-inspired artist Kaixo didn’t always know he was going to be a musician. In fact, growing up he had little care for what was playing on the radio and hated music class. It wasn’t until 2015 when he touched his first DAW at the age of fourteen that it clicked and a new world opened for him. Kaixo was born with a few simple goals: Learn and improve.
In 2020 Kaixo came to the attention of independent record label FiXT when he won first place in The Anix‘s “Die With You” Remix Contest and signed a multi-album deal with the label in late 2021. In 2022 Kaixo is releasing a series of remixes for FiXT artists including Celldweller, Scandroid, Fight The Fade, Circle of Dust, and Daedric, ahead of releasing original material towards a new full-length album.
Explosive. Bombastic. Defiant. Intense. Seething Akira have developed a gloriously turbulent sound that is uniquely their own. Founded by vocalists Charlie Bowes and Kit Conrad, Seething Akira are a 6-piece electronic nu-core band hailing from the seafront city of Portsmouth, UK that have been tearing venues apart across Europe with their powerful fusion of genres since 2012.
The band’s first full-length album, Sleepy Skeletor, dropped in 2018 and made it clear that Seething Akira would be a force to be reckoned with in the years to come. In late 2020, the band launched a series of new singles leading up to their second album, the highly anticipated Dysfunctional Wonderland. With the strength of the band’s music and their popularity with fans rocketing skyward, they connected with electronic rock label FiXT and forged a partnership for their future releases.
Seething Akira has been featured on the Rock Hard Spotify editorial list, while their single “Firepower” landed on Kerrang Radio and Scuzz. “I Am The Devil” and “The Islander” were both featured on BBC Introducing, and “The Islander” premiered on Soundsphere Magazine.
At home and on the road, Seething Akira have also put their stamp on staple festivals such as Bloodstock, Victorious, Camden Rocks, and many more while touring with bands like The Qemists and The Algorithm.
The band dropped the latest album Dysfunctional Wonderland in late 2021 and have released a series of new singles in 2022 on the march to their next album.
