14th August 2020 (LONDON, UK)—Alternative rock and metal group Jordan Red releases their third single and lyric video for “Hands That Built The World” on 14 August 2020.

With this new release, Jordan Red is taking the opportunity to raise awareness for mental health issues by fundraising for HeartSupport—an online community where people discover the strength to overcome suicidal thoughts & depression.

“We chose to back HeartSupport with this release as we believe in the positive community they have created. This is vital in helping people find purpose, discover healing and positively transform their lives to break the cycle of suicide, addiction, abuse and mental health issues.”

Hands That Build The World” follows up as Jordan Red‘s third installment this year after releasing singles “Beautiful Monsters”, and “Don’t Let The Heavens Fall”, which received support from Planet Rock, Loudwire, The Noise, RAMzine & TotalRock. The two releases currently have a playlist reach of over 150,000 users on Spotify, and over 120,000 views on YouTube collectively.

Here’s what guitarist Dan Baker has to say about “Hands That Built The World”:

”We wrote this for everyone out there that feels beaten and broken down by the world. “Hands That Built The World” was written during what seemed like an endless struggle with depression. Ultimately, this is a song about survival. It’s about acting with strength when you feel weak and finding power when you’re powerless. When the walls around you feel like they’re closing in, you need to have the belief that you can fight your way out.”

The new single is mixed and mastered by Romesh Dodangoda (Bring Me The Horizon, Bullet For My Valentine & Don Broco), and accompanied with illustrative artwork by Elisa Schillaci (Alter Bridge & A Perfect Circle), as well as a brand new lyric video by 12 Inch Media, who have recently produced Five Finger Death Punch‘s “Living The Dream” and Alter Bridge‘s “In The Deep” lyric videos.

Formed by frontman Dan Leigh and guitarist Dan Baker, as well as featuring Conor O’Keefe and Dave Fee of As Lions (Eleven Seven Music) in the recordings, Jordan Red fuse the melodic elements of 21st-century rock and alternative metal with the aggressive high energy pulse of modern punk.

The group set up base in London, and developed a powerful, anthemic sound with an emphasis on big riffs and even bigger choruses.

This new single is the title track from their debut album, Hands That Built The World, releasing in early 2021.
