(Houston, TX – November 12th, 2018) Houston outfit Jonah The Runner has premiered their new music video, “Cardinal Park”.

The track is taken from upcoming EP, ‘Cardinal Park’, set for release on November 30th.

Ean Tillett spoke exclusively to Substream Magazine, to discuss the new music, which marks the band’s first material since the release of 2016’s ‘Distances’ EP.

Since their inception in Houston in 2015, Texan rockers Jonah The Runner have gone about crafting an engrossing blend of indie and alternative influences, combining intricate guitar work and a resonating vocal, underpinned by an instrumentally driven post-rock tone.

Where debut EP ‘Distances’ – released in 2016 – offered a dexterous and promising, if somewhat disparate insight into the band’s range, upcoming sophomore effort ‘Cardinal Park’, by contrast, showcases Jonah The Runner’s transition to a more ambitious, multi-layered sound along the post-rock trajectory; a maturity in execution that would impress many of the band’s more experienced contemporaries. Indeed the Houston trio has already secured supports with a host of nationally touring acts including The Dangerous Summer, Fossil Youth and Kurt Travis as they continue to share their innate songwriting ability both on record and live.

With 2018 drawing to a close, Jonah The Runner is set for the release of grungy post-rock showcase ‘Cardinal Park’. Title track and lead single “Cardinal Park” is out now.
