“We all love creating music and wanted to produce music that others would enjoy both at home listening and watching live.” states the band when talking about their new material. “As a band our main goal is to help anyone who is going through a difficult time and say to them how much we can relate! We are more than happy to listen and help in anyway we can. Be that via our music or speaking at a show.”
VIRTUE IN VAIN’s ‘Dusk//Dawn’ EP follows on from their last release. The previous one was about loss of identity in yourself and this one tackles what happens when you are at rock bottom from that. The concept of the EP is all the thoughts and actions you have over one night between Dusk and Dawn, as the band stated that’s when they personally feel their weakest. The EP runs through various themes such as pessimistic and cynical thoughts, toxic relationships, bad decisions and suicide.
Expect technical heavy riffs with a unexpected twist that leaves the listener craving for more! Then just as you think it couldn’t get any heavier, they hit you with one of their earth shattering breakdowns.
Over the bands career they have played multiple live shows with up and coming UK bands and their material has now caught the attention of BBC Wales.
