INFIRM OF PURPOSE spit out an engulfing sound that merges powerful post-hardcore riffery with engrossing electronica. Hailing from the heart of England, the emerging quintet were born in Derby in the Midlands and have been carefully crafting their art ever since their inception in 2015. The band made their mark on the live circuit in 2017, and quickly amassed a loyal fan base, aided by a raft of captivating performances with Outline in Color, Our Hollow, Our Home, InVisions, Redeem, Revive, MC Devvo, Cabin Boy Jumped Ship, TheCityIsOurs, Scream Blue Murder, and more.

With influences panning from contemporary hip-hop to cutting edge metalcore, and with a powerful admiration for synths, the energetic quintet have many plans in place for the coming months. For now, INFIRM OF PURPOSE have just launched a new single, Life Leads To Death. Josh Blackshaw (Vocalist) comments about the song: “‘Life Leads To Death’ is a metalcore/trap Music hybrid. Inspired by artists such as Scarlxrd, SuicideBoys and Ghostemane, this tune brings the trap sound to the metalcore world, mixing 808s and synths with guitars and live drums. Writing, recording, mixing and mastering was done by us, down to the last detail.” The fivesome have also recently racked up critical acclaim for their fantastic reworking of the DAVE track, Funky Friday. With the release of a new EP on the horizon, the future is very bright for INFIRM OF PURPOSE.
